Online Operations Manager
Location: North Vancouver, BC
The area: The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team keeps us growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's expanding base of advertisers and visitors on a global basis, and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are responsible for supporting customers and generating revenue from a unique range of internet advertising products. This means that OSO team members need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible - and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The role: As an Online Operations Manager, you're a leader with flexibility, management experience and outstanding decision-making skills, and you're able to use quantitative abilities to make effective, strategic decisions. In our fast-growing online environment, you will be extremely proactive, motivated, organized and responsible.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, with minimal oversight, the operations and support of all online advertising and consumer products.
- Develop and implement best practices for online client interaction and management of online sales and services for our revenue-generating products.
- Increase the effectiveness of online sign ups, online closing statistics and working to improve the web traffic and the number of online sales.
- Create new online buying opportunities and proactively create new systems and structures.
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the department, and provide reports as needed.
- Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development.
- Implement and manage all programs relating to email marketing programs including double opt-in programs.
- Create and execute strategies and build programs to manage online reputations.
- Create marketing programs to drive web traffic.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience with online marketing (direct management experience preferred).
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Experience with online marketing and email programs.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong computer applications skills.

Optimization Strategist
Location: North Vancouver, BC
The role: As an Optimization Strategist, you'll combine your commitment to providing superior customer service, analytical skills, deep knowledge of the Internet and passion for words to optimize our website to build our web traffic and to maximize the effectiveness of our customers online ads. You'll collaborate with the salesteam to optimize performance for advertising campaigns. This will include creating strategies and having meetings with the sales team to increase their understanding. Ideally, you have an online marketing and/or advertising background with strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimizations strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute SEO related functions - webpage audits for SEO algorithm compliance, keyword analysis, on-site improvements.
- Lead efforts to improve ad relevancy and present those improvements to sales team.
- Help advertisers construct advertising campaigns that will maximize exposure and deliver a positive return on investment.
- Design, implement, analyze and optimize natural search techniques.
- Identify and build link strategy.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to improve online reputations of clients.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree pref.
- At least 2 years of SEO experience plus client service, marketing or advertising experience.
- Experience with writing search engine friendly copy.
- Familiarity with HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and Web Design.
- Knowledge of link analysis and page level optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills.

Sales Associate, Digital Ads
Location: North Vancouver, BC
The role: As a Sales Associate, you'll be part of a customer acquisition team dedicated to expanding our advertising base by providing highly targeted ad solutions that deliver results. You'll interact with prospective customers to demonstrate the value of our advertising solutions. You are comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, committed to gaining new clients, and enthusiastic about working in a team sales and support environment. You have experience prospecting, growing an account list, and closing sales consistently over a sustained period of time.
Responsibilities:
- Sell our advertising solutions to small and mid-size companies.
- Handle incoming leads.
- Identify new sales opportunities.
- Meet quarterly revenue and new business targets.
- Take on additional projects to improve team efficiency.
Requirements:
- High-caliber BA/BS degree from a leading academic institution, pref but not mandatory.
- 2 years of sales experience preferred but not essential.
- Media, marketing, sales or communications qualifications preferred.
- Personal drive, ambition to succeed, and a desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for sales, the internet and innovation.
